Mason Frostwolf is a Norse warrior. He serves his Lord with absolute loyalty and honor. And, he is strongly devoted to his Gods. He also holds a secret; he is a purebred werewolf, and leader of a clan of werewolf’s. His purebred powers give him the ability to change form whenever he wants, and silver does not kill him, but instead he can tolerate it for a time, but it still acts like a poison. Nobody, not even the Lord he served, knew of this. But one day, his Lord became suspicious of him when he refused to lead a night raid that would end a long war. So, the Lord confined him, only latter to hear from the guards that he changed into a wolf because of the full moon out that night! Mason’s now former Lord ordered that he be found, and put to death along with all other werewolf’s with him. Eventually Mason and his clan were found, and in the process of trying to fight their way to a harbor to get away on their longboats, they were all killed trying to protect him in a fever pitched battle, but they inflicted a heavy loss on the army sent to destroy them. Now without a place to call home, his clan and all his friends killed, and an army of assassins after his head, Mason left the Norse lands and his ancestral home. Searching for a way to avenge the destruction of his clan, the death of his friends, and the chance to start over and rebuild his clan and kill the man responsible and all those who sided with him.
